The Khalsa College Amritsar Global Alumni Association strongly condemned the deeply disturbing allegations of harassment, criminal intimidation, and abetment to suicide involving Dr. Gagandeep Randhawa, an alumnus of Khalsa College Amritsar.
Dr.Davinder Singh Chhina, Global Convenor ,KCAGAA, said that as a global community representing the values and legacy of Khalsa College Amritsar, we express our profound anguish and concern over the gravity of these allegations. Such actions, if proven, are a serious violation of human dignity, ethical conduct, and the principles that our institution and alumni stands for.
We stand in solidarity with the victim and the Randhawa family during this difficult time and call upon the authorities to act with urgency and fairness. We unequivocally demand:
1. A *time-bound and transparent investigation* into the matter.
2. An *independent inquiry by a neutral agency* to ensure impartiality and accountability.
3. *Strict legal action* against those found guilty, in accordance with the law.
The alumni community believes that justice delayed is justice denied. It is imperative that the truth is established swiftly and that those responsible are held accountable without prejudice or delay.
We also urge the relevant authorities to ensure that no undue influence or pressure compromises the integrity of the investigation process.
The Khalsa College Amritsar Global Alumni Association remains committed to upholding justice, integrity, and the values instilled by our alma mater. We will continue to closely follow this matter and support all efforts toward achieving justice.
