Ravinder Singh Saini given additional charge as Chairperson of PSERC

Chandigarh, April 22, 2026: The Punjab Government’s Department of Power has made an important administrative arrangement to ensure smooth functioning of regulatory work.
According to official orders issued by the state government, Ravinder Singh Saini, Member of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC), has been assigned the additional charge of the Chairperson of the Commission. The post had been lying vacant and the appointment has been made with immediate effect.
The order states that Saini will hold this responsibility until further notice, and the arrangement is purely temporary in nature.
