Tourists going to Himachal beware: Farmers and Taxi unions to block traffic for 4 hours at 56 entry points today June 1

Chandigarh, June 1, 2026: Tourists planning for visiting Himachal Pradesh on June 1 should be beware as members of Sangarsh Committee on Entry Taxes which comprises farmers unions and taxi unions besides other will block traffic at 56 entry points from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh. They will stage protest from 11.00 AM to 3.00 PM.
As such it is but normal that hug queues of traffic will be witnessed at these points and traffic will be jammed.
