Railway announces special trains for NEET aspirants between Amritsar, Ludhiana and Ferozepur
Ferozepur, June 19, 2026: To facilitate candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scheduled on June 21, 2026, Northern Railway has announced the operation of special examination trains on different routes.
According to the railway authorities, special trains will be operated between Amritsar–Ludhiana, Ludhiana–Amritsar and Firozepur Cantt–Ludhiana to provide convenient transportation to NEET aspirants.
Train No. 04666/04665 Amritsar–Ludhiana–Amritsar Special will make two trips on June 21, 2026. Train No. 04666 will depart from Amritsar Junction at 9:50 AM and reach Ludhiana Junction at 12:10 PM. The return train (04665) will leave Ludhiana at 7:20 PM and arrive at Amritsar at 10:05 PM. The train will halt at Beas, Jalandhar City, Phagwara and Phillaur stations.
Similarly, Train No. 04667/04668 Ludhiana–Amritsar–Ludhiana Special will also run two trips on the same day. Train No. 04667 will depart from Ludhiana at 9:30 AM and reach Amritsar at 12:10 PM, while Train No. 04668 will leave Amritsar at 7:40 PM and reach Ludhiana at 10:10 PM, with stoppages at Phillaur, Phagwara, Jalandhar City and Beas.
Another special service, Train No. 04670/04669 Firozepur Cantt–Ludhiana–Firozepur Cantt Special, will operate on June 21. Train No. 04670 will leave Firozepur Cantt at 7:45 AM and reach Ludhiana Junction at 11:00 AM. The return train (04669) will depart from Ludhiana at 7:00 PM and reach Firozepur Cantt at 9:30 PM. It will stop at Talwandi, Moga, Ajitwal, Jagraon and Mullanpur stations.
