  New Delhi, June 22, 2026: Centre has re-appointed Tushar Mehta as Solicitor General of India for a period of 3 years from July 1, 2026.
  
  A native of Gujarat, Mehta is serving as Solicitor General since October 10, 2018.
  
  His re-appointment was approved by Appointments Committee of Cabinet.
