New Verka Ferozepur GM Dr. Bhadour pledges boost to dairy development and farmer welfare
Ferozepur June, 24, 2026: Senior Officer of Milkfed under the Cooperation Department of Punjab Dr. Surjeet Bhadour has been appointed as the new General Manager of Verka Milk Plant, Ferozepur by the Government.
Former student of Veterinary College of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Surjeet Singh Bhadour's work has been transferred from Cattle Feed Plant and Frozen Seamen Station, Khanna.
Dr. Surjit Singh Bhadour has more than 20 years of experience working at senior positions in Verka Milk Plants under the Cooperation Department. Before this, Dr. Bhadour has worked as General Manager in Ludhiana, Patiala, Jalandhar, Sangrur and Khanna. Besides graduation in Veterinary Science, Dr. Bhadour has an MBA and a postgraduate degree in Journalism.
Before serving in the Cooperation Department, he was active in the field of journalism for a long time. He is still continuously associated with the Punjabi literary and cultural sector. Based on his experience in the Cooperation Department, his original book 'Ghal Khae Kichu Habhu Dei Vi' has been published. After assuming charge at Milk Plant Ferozepur, he said that his priority would be to provide high quality milk products to the consumers as well as all-round development of dairy farmers in the area connected to Ferozepur Milk Plant.
He said that Milkfed Punjab is working to realize the dream of Punjab government to take dairy development to new heights and his priority will be to try to take Punjab government's dairy farming and development schemes to village level.
