SAD announces 15 rallies across Punjab in August-September; Details Inside

Chandigarh, August 9, 2026: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will organise 15 rallies across different Assembly constituencies in Punjab during August and September, party leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema announced.
According to Cheema, the party has already held 40 rallies in different parts of the state and will now hold 15 more as part of its constituency-wise outreach programme.
Three of the upcoming events will be the party’s annual conferences. These include the August 15 conference at Issru, the August 20 gathering at Longowal to commemorate the memory of Sant Harchand Singh Longowal, and the August 28 conference at Baba Bakala on the occasion of Rakhar Punia.
The remaining 12 events will be constituency-wise rallies. SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and other senior party leaders are scheduled to participate in the programmes.
