Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), party president Sukhbir Singh Badal announced the appointment of new General Council members from eight districts, marking an expansion in the party’s organizational structure. The announcement included the appointment of Nardev Singh Poohli, a senior leader from the Bhuchho Mandi Assembly constituency, as a member of the General Council.
The appointment of Nardev Singh Poohli has been met with enthusiasm and joy among SAD workers in the region. Known for his dedication and hard work, Nardev Singh has previously served as the National Senior Vice-President of the Shiromani Akali Dal Kisan Wing, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the party's base.
Expressing his gratitude, Nardev Singh Poohli thanked SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Member of Parliament Harsimrat Kaur Badal, District President Jagseer Singh Jagga Kalyan, Bhuchho Mandi constituency in-charge Dr. Daljit Singh Guru, and the entire party high command for entrusting him with this responsibility. He pledged to fulfill his duties with dedication and continue his efforts to fortify the Shiromani Akali Dal.
