30 year old wife of Army officer gives life to 6 with organ donation

Panchkula, September 14, 2026: 30 year old wife of Army officer who was admitted to Command hospital with brain haemorrhage, has given life to 6 others with her organ donation.
Family decided to go for organ donation. Her two kidneys, liver, two corneas and heart were donated by family.
One of the kidneys was transported to PGIMS, Rohtak where a patient needed kidney transplant. A green corridor was created to facilitate the speedy transportation of the organ from Chandimandir to Rohtak, with the support of the Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh police forces. Help of several officials from several districts of both states was also taken to ensure the smooth movement of the ambulance. Similarly heart was transplanted at Noida after airlifting it from Chandigarh.
