SEELCOME holds expert talks on "From Campus to Corporate - Essential Communication Skills for Engineers" at SBSSU
Ferozepur, October 28, 2026: The Society of Electronics & Communication Engineers (SELCOME), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
organized an expert talk titled “From Campus to Corporate: Essential Communication Skills for Engineers” on Tuesday at the C.V. Raman Hall, of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University (SBSSU), under the tutelage of Vice Chancellor Dr. Suresh Kumar Sharma.
The keynote address was delivered virtually by Ms. Gargi Verma, Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, Mohali. She highlighted the importance of communication skills, interview etiquette, and overall professional readiness in helping students transition smoothly from college to the workplace. She shared practical advice on resume building, group discussions, and personal interviews.
The session was attended by students of B.Sc. (CAE), B.Tech (ECE), and B.Tech (Computer & Electronics). The event was organized under the guidance of Registrar Dr. Rajiv Arora and Head of the Department Dr. Vikram Mutneja. Dr. Amit Grover, Faculty Incharge of SELCOME, served as the Faculty Coordinator, and Dr. Karamjeet Singh was the Co-Coordinator.
