New Delhi, November 3, 2026: Amid talks between SAD and BJP for alliance for 2027 Punjab elections entering last stage, all eyes will be on Delhi event today where top BJP and Akali Dal leaders are likely to attend. Event is none other than reception of Rhea daughter of Manpreet Badal with RK Martand grandson of Karan Singh. Event is being hosted at house of Jai Inder Kaur house of daughter of Capt. Amarinder Singh. Among the invitees are PM Narender Modi, HM Amit Shah, Senior Punjab BJP leaders and SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal and his wife and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal besides other top SAD leaders.
It is learnt that BJP has agreed for 44 to 50 seats as alliance partner though officially it is yet to be confirmed. As Diwali approaches political fireworks in Punjab are likely to be on display.
