- Chandigarh, November 11: The core committee of SAD have rejected all the resolutions passed in controversial Sarbatt Khalsa held at Chabba , yesterday. The committee also blames congress for the anti-Panthic -conspiracy. The committee also slammed Captain Amarinder Singh for vilification campaign against Parkash Singh Badal stating that it was an old ploy to weaken the SAD and the Sikhs: The following is the text of the resolutions passed in the meeting : This meeting of the Core Committee of the Shiromani Akal Dal out-rightly rejects all the resolutions passed at a function of the repeatedly rejected and dejected elements at Chabba village. Brazen Controlling Hand Of Congress Behind The Show "The gathering was the direct outcome of the conspiracy and complicity of the anti -Panthic Congress party whose leaders gleefully clapped their hands not .Such is the brazen-ness to which the Congress party has stooped in its anti-Sikh and anti-Punjab designs that its senior leaders including legislators and workers took part in these dangerous proceedings in large numbers. This was a clear proof of their active role in the organisation of the function which served to set panic in the minds of peace loving Punabis The presence of the leaders meant that the cat is now finally out the bag. Resolutions A Threat To Peace And An Attempt To Push Punjab Back Into Dark Era Of Bloodshed These resolutions are a part of a deep rooted conspiracy to disturb the hard earned atmosphere of peace and communal harmony in Punjab and to push the Sikhs and the whole of Punjab back into the dark era of bloodshed, murder and mayhem. As representative body of all Sikhs and the Punjabis on the whole, the Shiromani Akali Dal accepts the responsibility to expose this conspiracy and to fully protect the people of Punjab from attempts to bring back the dark old days back to vist the homes and hearts in villages and towns in Punjab. . The SAD will safeguard peace and communal harmony in the state at all costs. No one will be allowed to take law into his own hands. The party rededicates itself to the ideals of peace and rule of law. No one will be allowed to play havouc with the hard earned atmosphere of epace and communal harmony. SAD Accepts Moral Responsibility For Saving Sikh Youth Fro From Being Used The SAD has a huge moral, political and religious responsibility to save the Sikh community from being misled into a dark hole once again by the very people whose hands are drenched with the blood of thousands of innocent Sikh youth and other Punjabis. The Sikhs have not forgotten how only a few years ago, these very elements used the innocent and emotional Sikh youth as gun fodder to promote their own personal agenda. While thousands innocent and brave and brave sons of Sikh mothers were made sitting targets of bayonets in fake encounters and other means of persecution by the then anti-Sikh Congress rulers, these elements held secret parleys with the enemies of the Khalsa Panth in Delhi and reaped rich personal rewards and even built personal empires. All of them are still roaming free and none of them was made even to face a trial while thousands of innocent youth whom they had incited with their misleading and dangerous slogans, lost their lives. All of these elements are still being used by the Congress to repeat the same script and the same conspiracy which will lead the Sikh masses on the same suicidal path from which they have come out only after unparalleled and countless sacrifices. Chabba Resolutions An Attempt To Stop Wheels Of Progress And Development In Punjab The SAD is firmly of the view that the organisers passed these resolutions in order to create an atmosphere by which the fast process of development and progress in the state is stalled and the unprecedented flow of investments that have started pouring into the state is stopped. It is an attempt to scare away investments from Punjab and in that respect the organisers are guilty of playing with the future of Punjabi youth by trying to block fresh employment opportunities which investments bring in their wake. This is being done to provide the Congress a talking point about non-development and non-investment in Punjab. But this will not be allowed to succeed. Wheels of progress and development will continue with greater zeal and speed. Effort To Paint The Sikhs As Terrorists And Anti National Again :::: Federal Structure Is The Sikh Aspiration And The SAD Agenda The old Congress agenda of trying to paint the Sikhs as a dangerous community of anti-national terrorists was at work again at yesterday's function. The Sikh take pride in being the sword arm of India and have made the greatest sacrifices far in excess of their numbers for the independnence and defence of the country. The Shiromani Akali Dal, as a representative and spokesman of this nationalist and patriotic sentiments, has always remained in the forefront of the struggle for the defence and the unity and integrity of the country, as also of peace and communal harmony in Punjab and the rest of the country. The party strongly opposes the agenda of the organisers and will expose their designs which are aimed at isolating and alienating the Sikh masses from the national mainstream again. This is a repetition of the same conspiracy which the Congress had used in the 80s and 90s and for which the Punjabis and the SIkhs particular had to pay extremely unspeakable price. The SAD will ensure that it does not succeed. The Sikhs take great pride in the traditions of the Gurus and in a legacy in which the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib is known as Hind di Chaadar. The SAD swears by a patriotic agenda and will not allow the enemies of the Sikh masses to defame them and then push them into bloodshed again under any circumstances. The SAD swears by the establishment of a genuinely federal structure in the country with more powers to states. This has remained and will remain the goal of the Sikh masses , the Punjabis on the whole and of the SAD. Unholy Conspiracy To Exploit The Sikh Sentiments Deeply Hurt By Sacrilege Of Holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib: The orgainsers of yesterday function tried to play a most unholy and irreligious games with the sacred sentiments of the Sikh masses which had been deeply hurt by incidents of sacrilege of Sri guru Granth Sahib Maharaj. These elements were hiding behind Sikh attires and brazely trying to exploit of the sentiments of the Sikh masses while no effort was made from the stage to understand an address the deeply hurt religious feelings of the Sikh masses. They did not spare even Sri Guru Granth Sahib and made brazen and shameless attempts to project the sentiments attached to the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib as proof of the masses sentiments of support for the organisers in their attempt to push their dangerous and opportunistic agenda . No reference was made from the stage to the deeply wounded sentiments of the Sikh masses over the issues of sacrilelege of our holy and living Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The organsiers were guilty of a grave sacrilege and sin ( bajjar gunaah) of trying to overshadow even the holy word of the Guru for their opportunistic political ambitions. The Guru will punish them for their over ambitiousness. Resolutions An Attempt To Undo Sacrifices In Nankana Sahib, Jaitau Ka Morcha Etc The proceedings at the function left no stone unturned to undermine and destroy the sacred and lofty traditions of the Khalsa Panth. They sought to destroy the achievements of the great Sikh heroes and martyrs from the Nanakana Sahib Saka, Jaitau ka Morcha, Chaabian da Morcha and other struggles. It was through countless sacrifices in these struggles that the Sikhs had earned the right to manage their own shrines and run their religious affairs through their legitimately elected representatives in the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. Illegal And Illegitimate Appointments Rejected The SAD rejects the attempts by these desperate elements to snatch from the Sikh masses to appoint their Jathedars to the sacred Takhat Sahiban including the Sri Akal Takhat Sahib. The party also outrightly rejects the illegal and illegitimate appointment of so-called Jathedars in an autocratic manner without gaining legitimacy through a mandate from the Sikh community . This action is the height of arrogance and haughtiness of these elements which runs contrary to the message of humility and submission before the Sangat as taught to us by our great Guru Sahiban. Vilification Campaign Against Parkash Singh Badal Is An Old Ploy To Weaken The SAD And The Sikhs: Amrinder Tried It In 2002 An Failed. SAD Accepts Challenge On Badal's Behalf In another resolution the SAD clearly sees through the games of these elements to make the community leaderless by targeting their popularly chosen and elected leader, Sardar Parkash Singh Badal whose whole life is an open book not only before the Sikhs and Punjabis but before the whole country and the world. They are focusing all their energies on defaming Sardar Badal through a vicious and bitterly hateful vilification campaign against the most popular leader of the community because they know that Sardar Badal enjoys a very special place in the hearts of every Punjabi and if they weaken his appeal in the hearts of the people through false propaganda , they can weaken the Shiromani Akali Dal. The SAD will continue to be guided by the far-sighted, statesmanlike and completely transparent persona of Sardar Badal who is symbol for all countrymen in "simple living and high thinking." The conspiracy is to defame Sardar Badal to weaken the SAD, and to defame the SAD and the SGPC to weaken the SIkh community and dilute or destroy the religious Shakti of the Khalsa Panth. The same unholy ploy was employed by Captain Amaridner Singh as Chief Minsiter in 2002. It boom-ranged on him because people love Parkash SIngh Badal and did not take kindly to Captain Amaridner Singh's "Badla against Badal" kindly. The same strategy is being employed again by these Congress inspired elements. SAD accepts the challenge to fight this conspiracy off as it did earlier. -------
