Resolve complaints received at "CM Window" within 7 Days, ADC asks officials

Nawanshahr, 23 July 2024: A review meeting chaired by Rajeev Verma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G), was held to address the complaints received at the "CM Window".
The meeting was attended by officials from various departments and Dr. Gurleen, PCS, Field Officer to the Chief Minister cum-Nodal Officer, CM Window.
During the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) highlighted the Chief Minister of Punjab's directive to establish CM Windows at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in every district.
This initiative aims to facilitate the general public in hassle-free registration of their complaints as well as to ensure timely redressal of grievances.
Rajeev Verma, PCS, instructed all departmental officials present to submit reports on complaints received at the CM Window within 7 days. If a complaint is pending in civil court, details of the court case must be provided.
If any department fails to send the report within the stipulated timeframe, the district head of that department must provide a written explanation for the delay. Non-compliance with these instructions will result in action against the responsible officials as per the rules.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) also appealed to the residents of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar to utilize the CM Window for registering their complaints. Residents can visit the Deputy Commissioner’s office to lodge their grievances at the CM Window.
