NDA/NA and CDS exams held in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, September 1, 2024: The examinations for the National Defense Academy (NDA)/Naval Academy (NA) and Combined Defense Services (CDS) were held in the Ludhiana district on Sunday. The examination remained peaceful.
The NDA/NA exam is held in two sessions ie 10 am to 12:30 am (morning shift) & 2 pm to 4:30 pm (evening shift).In the morning shift, out of 3218 total students, 1989 appeared including 1346 boys and 643 girls and 1229 candidates remained absent.
In the evening shift, 1982 appeared including 1338 boys and 644 girls and 1236 candidates remained absent.The CDS exam was held in three shifts from 9 am to 11 am, 12 pm to 2 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm.
Out of a total 1203 total candidates, 625 candidates appeared including 432 boys and 193 girls and 578 were absent in first shift.
In the second shift, 624 candidates appeared including 428 boys and 196 girls and 579 were absent in the shift. In the third shift, out of total 529 candidates, 280 boys appeared and 249 were absent in the shift.
The exam was held in 14 centers. jammers were also installed and 104 security personnel were deployed inside and outside the examination centers.
The exam was held in Guru Nanak Public School, Khalsa College for Women, Govt College For Girls (sub-centre-A), Govt College For Girls (sub-centre-B), Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College (Sub-centre-A), Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College (Sub centre-B), Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, MBA block, Nankana Sahib Public School and DAV Public School (two blocks).
Mobile phones, IT gadgets, Bluetooth and any other communication devices were banned inside the premises where exams were conducted.
