  Muktsar (Punjab), February 17, 2025: The Punjab government has appointed Abhijeet Kaplish, a 2015-batch IAS officer as new Deputy Commissioner of Muktsar.
  
  This comes after IAS officer Rajesh Tripathi holding the charge of Muktsar DC was suspended over corruption allegations.
