Senior IPS officer Alok Verma appointed as Director, Special Protection Group

New Delhi, November 18, 2023: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Senior IPS officer Alok Sharma, 1991-batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Additional Director General, SPG to the post of Director, Special Protection Group (SPG) from the date of assumption of charge of the post and until further orders.
