  Chandigarh, February 26, 2025 - The Punjab government has dismissed Naib Tehsildar Varinderpal Singh Dhoot from the service.
  
  Naib Tehsildar Varinderpal Singh Dhoot is accused of passing an illegal transfer of 10,365 kanal 19 marla Shamlat land and the investigating officer (retired judge B.R. Bansal) has confirmed all the allegations.
  
  Naib Tehsildar Varinderpal Singh Dhoot benefited private individuals by ignoring the orders of the Supreme Court and the government and Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Anurag Verma issued a dismissal order on February 24, 2025.
