SBS State University hosts expert talk on AI to empower future innovators
Ferozepur, February 25, 2025: The Career Development Cell of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University, Ferozepur, organized an expert talk on Artificial Intelligence, featuring Dr. Sandeep Singh Sandha, Coordinator of Punjab AI Excellence, under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal.
Dr. Sandeep Singh Sandha, a renowned AI expert with experience in leading tech companies, delivered an insightful session on “Building and Running Large Language Models (ChatGPT, Chatbots & Custom LLMs)” at CV Raman Hall. The event aimed to expose first and second-year engineering students to the latest AI advancements, empowering them to enhance their technical skills and become industry-ready. A motivational speech by Dr. Inderjot Kaur also inspired students to explore AI applications for career growth.
Dr. Gazal Preet Arneja, Registrar, applauded the Career Development Cell's efforts and congratulated Dr. Tejeet Singh, Inderjeet Singh Gill, and Ritesh Uppal for organizing the event.
The session concluded with a call for regular workshops to keep students updated on emerging technologies. Faculty members including Dr. Suny Behal, Dr. Vikram Mutneja, Japinder Singh, Mr. Navtej Singh, Ms. Bindu Bala, Chakshu Goel, Yugraj Singh, and others graced the occasion.
