**Haryana Government Announces Major Administrative Reshuffle of IAS and HCS Officers**

Chandigarh, May 26, 2025 – The Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders for 41 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) /Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers, effective immediately, as part of a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at enhancing efficiency across various departments and districts. The orders were issued under the authority of Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, as per the notification dated May 26, 2025.
Among the key transfers, Ankit Kumar Chouksey, IAS (HY:2022), previously Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Badshahpur, and CEO of Shree Mata Sheetla Devi Shrine Board, Gurugram, has been appointed as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Jhajjar, replacing Ravinder Yadav, HCS (2013). Shashvat Sangwan, IAS (HY:2022), formerly Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Naraingarh, and CEO-cum-Executive Director, Naraingarh Sugar Mills, has been transferred to the position of Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Brara.
Several HCS officers have also been reassigned to critical roles. Vivek Padam Singh, HCS (1997), has been appointed Controller, Printing & Stationery, Haryana, and Special Secretary to the Government, Haryana, Printing & Stationery Department, while retaining his roles as Member Secretary of the Haryana State Backward Classes Commission and Haryana Vimukt Ghumantu Jati Vikas Board. Dr. Sarita Malik, HCS (2002), previously Special Secretary to the Government, Haryana, Public Health Engineering Department, has been posted as Secretary, Haryana Right to Service Commission.
Other notable appointments include Vatsal Vashisht, HCS (2002), who has been transferred to Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Gurugram, and Jag Niwas, HCS (2002), appointed to the same role in Jhajjar. The reshuffle also involves key positions in municipal corporations, with Virender Singh Sehrawat, HCS (2004), taking over as District Municipal Commissioner, Sirsa, and Satbir Singh, HCS (2004), appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Faridabad, and Special Officer, APZ Faridabad.
The transfers span various departments, including education, health, skill development, and municipal governance, reflecting the state’s focus on strengthening administrative frameworks. Officers such as Vandana Disodia, HCS (2004), have been reassigned to Additional Director (Admn.), Skill Development & Industrial Training, Haryana, while Ashwani Malik, HCS (2011), has been posted as Additional Director (Admn.), Sports and Youth Affairs, Haryana.
The notification also highlights the appointment of younger HCS officers to significant roles, such as Hunny Bansal, HCS (2023), who has been named Secretary, State Police Complaint Authority, Haryana. The orders for Braham Parkash, HCS (2019), are yet to be issued.
