Term of 178 Law Officers of AG Punjab Extended by One Year

In a significant administrative decision, the Punjab Government has extended the term of 178 law officers attached to the office of the Advocate General, Punjab, by one year.
According to official sources, the extension will allow the existing panel of law officers to continue representing the state in various courts, ensuring continuity in legal proceedings and ongoing cases.
The decision is seen as an effort to maintain stability and avoid disruption in the functioning of the Advocate General’s office, which handles a wide range of important legal matters on behalf of the state government.The term of some Law officer has not been extended.
