30-Day Fitness Challenge concludes with Award Ceremony at Ferozepur Women's College
SSP Ferozepur honours students and faculty
Ferozepur, April 17, 2025: An award ceremony was held at Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), in collaboration with the National EduTrust of India, marking the successful completion of the ‘30-Day Fitness Challenge’ program. The chief guest for the event was Bhupinder Singh Sidhu, PPS, Senior Superintendent of Police.

Highlighting a proud achievement, Dr. Sharma shared that Cadet Sanjna, a student of the college, secured second position at the state level in the Instagram Reel Competition held under the 30-Day Fitness Challenge.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu expressed his happiness at being part of the event and interacting with the students. He shared a personal connection with the college, noting that both his mother and aunt were alumni of the institution.
Speaking on drug issues in society, he countered the prevailing perception that Punjabi youth are deeply involved in substance abuse, stating that such narratives demoralise the younger generation. He emphasised that while around 5% of youth may be affected, the majority are achieving great success across various fields through their hard work. He stressed the need for continued awareness campaigns to combat drug addiction.
In recognition of the college’s outstanding performance in the fitness challenge, the institution was honoured with a “State Level Certificate of Achievement” and the “Champion of Wellness and Vitality” award, presented by SSP Sidhu to Principal Dr. Sangeeta Sharma.
Dr. Sangeeta Sharma praised the SSP’s relentless efforts in combating anti-social elements and fostering a better society.
