AAP MLA Pathanmajra’s police remand extended by 7 days

Chandigarh, March 29, 2026: A local court on Sunday extended the police remand of Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra by seven days in connection with a rape case.
The Aam Aadmi Party MLA was arrested by Punjab Police from Gwalior earlier this week, more than six months after he allegedly escaped from police custody.
Police had sought an extension of remand to continue questioning and gather further evidence in the case. The court granted the request, allowing investigators additional time to probe the matter.
