BSF organizes free medical camp under Civic Action Program
Ferozepur, January 11, 2025: On Saturday, the Border Security Force successfully organized a free medical camp at the Government Secondary School, Kilche, under the Civic Action Program.
The primary objective of the camp was to provide much-needed healthcare services to the residents of nearby border villages, including Nihalewala, Kilche, and Kaluwala. Approx 150 men and women from these villages benefited from free medical consultations provided by the doctors. In addition, free medicines were distributed as per the doctors’ prescriptions.
This initiative not only made healthcare more accessible to rural communities but also raised awareness regarding health issues, empowering local residents to prioritize their health and well-being. Programs like these foster a stronger bond between the BSF and local communities, enhancing mutual trust and support.
The Border Security Force consistently organizes campaigns to educate young people in border areas about the importance of good health and the dangers of drug abuse. Through welfare programs and awareness activities, BSF helps them understand the harmful effects of drugs on both physical and mental health. These efforts aim to promote healthier lifestyles and prevent substance abuse among the youth.
