New Delhi, October 24, 2026: The Centre has appointed 1995-batch IAS officer Dr Sajjan Singh Yadav as the next Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, succeeding Atal Dulloo, a 1989-batch IAS officer.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on October 24, Yadav, an AGMUT cadre officer, has been transferred from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir with effect from November 1, 2026, or from the date he assumes charge, whichever is later.
