Ferozepur's Sagar Swami Secures third rank in UPSC-CDS Exam
Ferozepur, May 29: Sagar Swami, a resident of Ferozepur Cantonment, has created history by securing the third rank in the prestigious UPSC-CDS (Union Public Service Commission – Combined Defence Services) examination at the national level, bringing laurels to his family and the entire district.
Sagar Swami, who has always been a topper in his studies, has also maintained a keen focus on his physical fitness. A graduate with a B.Com degree, he expressed his happiness over his success, acknowledging the pivotal role played by his father, Ami Swami, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, and his mother, Mamta Swami, a homemaker, in supporting and motivating him throughout his journey.
Sagar Swami shared that he has fulfilled a dream he had nurtured since Class 12, dedicating his success to his parents' unwavering encouragement. Notably, Sagar completed his Class 12 education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ferozepur, and had set his sights on becoming an army officer from that time.
His achievement has also brought immense joy to his family members, including his sister Aradhna Swami, a physics lecturer; his uncle Janak Raj Swami; his aunt Bimla Devi; his brother Naveen; sister-in-law Shweta; sister Geetanjali; uncles Surinder Kumar Sharma, Vikas Sharma, and Ravi Sharma; along with other relatives who have all extended their heartfelt congratulations.
