Haryana Agriculture Minister Suspends Four Officials for Negligence
Chandigarh, February 6, 2025 – Haryana's Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana, has ordered the suspension of four officials of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board for negligence in their official duties. The action was taken during the minister’s surprise inspection of grain markets in Sadhaura and Raipur Rani.
During his visit to Sadhaura Mandi, Minister Shyam Singh Rana found Mandi Secretary Dharmendra Singh and Auction Recorder Bijendra Singh absent from duty. He then inspected Raipur Rani Mandi, where Mandi Secretary Navdeep Singh and Auction Recorder Rajkumar were also found missing from their posts.
Taking immediate action, the minister ordered the suspension of all four officials on the spot.
