Highlighting the larger vision, the Chief Minister said that such initiatives not only bring people together but also serve as a great source of inspiration. He praised the Prime Minister’s exceptional leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to the nation, which has given citizens the dream of a “New India.” He said the vision of a “Developed India” is one where every citizen is empowered, every youth has access to employment, and the economy asserts a strong global presence.
He further said that initiatives like Make in India, Vocal for Local, Digital India, Startup India, and Skill India are propelling the nation to new heights. True development, he added, comes only when all sectors and citizens work together. Skill development and youth empowerment remain at the core of this progress.
He urged the youth to give equal importance to skill development as well as health and fitness, and to work collectively for the vision of “Developed India – Developed Haryana.”
Nayab Singh Saini said that India is a nation powered by its youth, which is its greatest asset. Today, he said, new horizons of opportunity are opening up, and the government is working tirelessly to support the youth in realizing their aspirations.
He stressed that skills are the true strength of young people, and that continuous learning and upgrading of abilities is the need of the hour. Your skills and abilities are what make you stand apart, he added.

Under the Haryana Skill Development Mission, more than 1.10 lakh youth have been trained to become self-reliant. He added that promoting industries is essential for generating employment opportunities for skilled youth, and to this end, a separate MSME Department has been set up to accelerate the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the state.
He said that India is rapidly emerging as a global hub for startups and research. To nurture this ecosystem, a New Startup Policy has been introduced in Haryana, under which financial and technical assistance is being provided to encourage youth to establish their own enterprises. So far, around 9,500 youth-led startups have been established in the state. He added that in today’s era of globalization, many young people aspire to work abroad but often fall prey to fraudulent agents. To safeguard their interests, the government has established the Department of Foreign Cooperation, which facilitates education and employment opportunities overseas.
Highlighting achievements in sports, the Chief Minister said that the accomplishments of Haryana’s athletes on the global stage fill every citizen with pride. He said that Haryana sportspersons have consistently excelled in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and other international events. Medal-winning athletes are being honoured with cash awards of up to Rs 6 crore, along with government jobs. Award-winning players are provided with a monthly honorarium.
The Chief Minister further said that India is the mother of democracy, and the greater the participation of youth in democratic processes, the brighter the future of the nation and the state.
