IAS Transfer/Posting: Registrar PAU and Director Sports Transferred

Chandigarh, September 11, 2026: The Punjab Government has ordered the transfer/posting of three IAS officers with immediate effect, including changes in the posts of Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and Director, Sports.
According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel, Rishi Pal Singh, IAS (2014), who was serving as Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, has been relieved of the post and his services placed at the disposal of the Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development for posting as Member Secretary, Punjab State Commission for Women.
Sukhjeet Pal Singh, IAS (2018), presently Additional Secretary, Health and Family Welfare and Additional Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare for posting as Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, in place of Rishi Pal Singh.
Meanwhile, Abhijeet Kaplish, IAS (2015), Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), has been appointed Chief Executive, PEDA and, in addition, Director, Sports, with additional charge of Director Sports relieving Sakshi Sawhney of Additional charge
