  Chandigarh, July 25, 2026: Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh, currently lodged in Dibrugarh Central Jail in Assam, has written to the Lok Sabha Speaker seeking permission to attend the ongoing Parliament session.
  
  According to sources, Amritpal Singh has requested that he be allowed to participate in the proceedings of the House despite being in judicial custody. The letter has been submitted to the Lok Sabha Speaker for consideration.
