Mansa: DC's gunman shoots family, then commits suicide

Mansa, October 20, 2026: In a shocking incident just ahead of visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gurvinder Singh gunman of Deputy Commissioner (DC) opened fire at his family and then committed suicide. His son also died in the incident along with him whereas his wife and another son were found injured who have been rushed to Bathinda.
SSP Vaibhav Chaudhary disclosed that gunman used his official weapon to fire on his family members before committing suicide. Along with him, his son also died in the firing whereas wife and another son were injured seriously.
This incident took place early morning today. Injured have been rushed to Bathinda hospital.
Neighbours have disclosed that the family had shifted in the new house yesterday only. It is assumed that gunman of DC himself shot at his family.
