Railways introduce special train for Maha Kumbh Mela
Ferozepur, January 21, 2025: In a move to accommodate the increased travel demand during the Maha Kumbh Mela, the Indian Railways has announced a special reserved train service. Train number 04603, designated as the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Phaphamau Kumbh Mela Special, will operate a single trip on January 21, 2025.
The train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11:50 PM and pass through key stations, including Jammu Tawi, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, and Lucknow, before arriving at its final destination, Phaphamau, at 9:50 PM the following day.
This special service aims to provide convenience to pilgrims and manage the anticipated rush during this significant religious gathering. Passengers are advised to book tickets promptly and plan their journey accordingly.
