Rhea Badal Engaged to Martand Singh; Manpreet Badal Becomes Relative of Capt. Amarinder Singh

Rhea Badal, daughter of former Punjab Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Manpreet Singh Badal, has been engaged to Martand Singh, son of Vikramaditya Singh and grandson of Dr. Karan Singh, the eminent statesman and scion of the erstwhile royal family of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Karan Singh is the son of the late Maharaja Hari Singh Dogra, the last ruling monarch of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, and is widely respected for his distinguished contributions to Indian public life as a former Union Minister, diplomat, scholar and parliamentarian.
The engagement also establishes a notable political and familial link with former Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh. Martand Singh’s sister, Mriganka Singh, is married to Nirvan Singh—grandson of Capt. Amarinder Singh and son of his daughter Jainder Kaur. With this alliance, Rhea Badal will become the sister-in-law ( Bhabi ) of Mriganka Singh, thereby making Manpreet Singh Badal and Capt. Amarinder Singh relatives.
