Ludhiana (Punjab), June 13 — Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the upcoming Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, paid a personal visit to senior party volunteer Neeru Chandaliya at her residence in Jawahar Nagar Labour Colony on Friday.The visit was aimed at inquiring about the health of Chandaliya’s daughter, who has been unwell in recent days.
Arora was warmly welcomed by Neeru’s family, neighbours, and local residents. As a mark of goodwill, a bouquet was presented to the family. During his visit, Arora interacted with Neeru’s elderly mother and conveyed his best wishes for the family’s well-being.
Accompanied by noted industrialist Gagan Khanna and other associates, Arora also spent time with local residents, who shared their concerns and issues related to the neighbourhood.
Lunch with the CommunityIn a gesture that underscored his connect with the grassroots, Arora and his team shared lunch with Neeru’s family and local residents, engaging in informal conversations and hearing public feedback firsthand.
Speaking to the media following the visit, Arora expressed appreciation for Neeru’s dedication to the party.
“Neeru Chandaliya has been a committed party worker since 2014 and is actively involved in the current campaign. It was an honour to spend time with her and the community. These connections are the foundation of our movement,” he said.
Neeru Chandaliya, visibly moved by the MP’s visit, shared her gratitude:
“It was a small request, and I am deeply touched that Sanjeev Arora ji visited my home. I have been with AAP since 2014, and his presence today has only deepened our trust in the leadership.”
