Ludhiana (Punjab), June 13, 2025:As part of his campaign for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora visited the Trident Group campus on Friday for an interactive session with the company’s employees. The outreach is seen as a strategic effort to connect with the city’s large industrial workforce.
During the meeting, Arora held a candid discussion on key urban issues such as infrastructure, civic amenities, environmental sustainability, and job creation. He emphasized his commitment to bringing transparent governance and people-centric development to Ludhiana West.
“I want to be your voice in the Assembly. With your support, we can make Ludhiana a model for planned growth, clean politics, and efficient public services,” Arora told the assembled employees.
The session was further underscored by the presence of Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group. Gupta welcomed Arora’s initiative and praised the positive dialogue. He also acknowledged the developmental efforts spearheaded by Arora in Ludhiana over the past three years.
Gupta’s presence signaled growing interest from Ludhiana’s industrial leadership in the ongoing political discourse. “It’s encouraging to see a candidate engage directly with industry and workforce stakeholders,” Gupta remarked.
This interaction adds further momentum to Arora’s campaign, which has recently gained traction through public meetings, door-to-door canvassing, and focused outreach in industrial areas—critical constituencies in Ludhiana’s economic landscape.
With the by-election approaching, such industrial engagements are expected to play a key role in shaping voter sentiment and influencing turnout among the working-class electorate.
