Strict quality standards in Govt projects; negligent officials to face action: Minister Ranbir Gangwa

Chandigarh, March 16, 2025: Haryana's Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister, Ranbir Gangwa, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in government projects, warning that negligence in road construction or other public works will result in strict action against officials and agencies involved.
Addressing a press conference in Hisar on Sunday, the minister emphasized that construction works are regularly inspected to ensure that public funds are utilized efficiently and transparently.
Responding to concerns about the sewerage system in Hisar’s auto market, he stated that immediate instructions had been given to repair and upgrade the sewerage and road infrastructure not just in the auto market but across the city, ensuring high-quality execution.
Highlighting the recent Hisar Municipal Corporation elections, Gangwa celebrated BJP candidate Praveen Popli’s landslide victory by 65,000 votes, along with 17 out of 20 winning BJP councillors.He credited this success to the public welfare policies of the Central and state governments and the people's continued trust in the party.
Newly elected Mayor Praveen Popli, former ministers Anoop Dhanak and Dr. Kamal Gupta, and District Council Chairman Sonu Data were also present at the press conference.
