United Sikhs Begins Project to Bring Together Entrepreneurs, Businesses
Program Helps in Economic & Social Growth; To Be Replicated in Other Countries
Ludhiana, February 6, 2025:
United Sikhs, a United Nations-affiliated humanitarian body, has started a program for networking in business to bring entrepreneurs, traders, and businessmen closer to work towards prosperity, business growth, and future development.
The program, titled Sikhs for Business, has held meetings in Ludhiana and Chandigarh, bringing together dozens of businessmen and entrepreneurs with a common goal of mutual well-being and growth.
“The very theme of our project is to bring people together, share ideas, support each other, and grow businesses, leading to economic upliftment and security,” says Amritpal Singh, who heads the project.
He informed that, so far, half a dozen meetings have been held—four in Ludhiana and two in Chandigarh—with tremendous success.
Many participants have come up with new business ideas, while others have expanded their ventures by making new contacts and securing new contracts.
Looking at the success of the meetings, the program has been divided into two sections—open meetings and closed-door interactions. “In the closed-door sessions, we interact with people in smaller groups, while the open-house session invites larger and more diverse participation,” said Amritpal Singh.
The idea has been warmly received, and United Sikhs plans to expand the initiative to other parts of the country and beyond. To begin with, it will be replicated in North America.
