Woman IPS officer transferred to Haryana cadre on marriage grounds

Chandigarh, April 21, 2026: The Central Government has approved the inter-cadre transfer of IPS officer Aditi Singh from Himachal Pradesh to Haryana on the grounds of marriage.
The 2021-batch officer has been transferred with the concurrence of both the Himachal Pradesh and Haryana governments. The move follows her marriage to Vivek Arya, also a 2021-batch officer of the Haryana cadre.
