MP Arora witnesses 300 years old Ramayan, Hanuman Natak and Geeta written in Gurmukhi at Shree Geeta Mandir

Ludhiana, January 22, 2024: MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora visited Shree Geeta Mandir, Vikas Nagar, Ludhiana to see an exhibition of ancient manuscript, coins and weapons used in various wars.
Arora was very much impressed to see the exhibition where coins of Kushan and Ohind Dynesty, Huvishka (150-180 AD), Vasudeva (190-230 AD), Samant Deva (85-1000 AD), coins related to Hindu Rulers and many others were put on display.
Besides, many ancient weapons such as kati, khanda do-dhari, tegu, kirch, gupti and bichua were on displayed. Many ancient Hindu handwritten granths, including 300 years old Ramayan, Hanuman Natak and Geeta written in Gurmukhi, were also displayed in the exhibition.
The exhibition was organised for two days with the help of Er Narinder Pal Singh of Akal Sahai Museum. This was the 250th such exhibition organised by Er Narinder Pal Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Arora appreciated the organisers for organising such an exhibition, which takes visitors to the ancient history of the country.
Arora said it is really a matter of pride that managing committee of Shree Geeta Mandir is running charitable medical dispensary and serving the down- trodden class of the society besides providing school fees and other help to poor and brilliant students.
He also lauded the temple’s managing committee for organising various religious activities.
He said he has been apprised that the mandir committee has also provided medical ambulance for the serious and needy patients. At the same time, it is also running computer and stitching center for needy.
Arora announced to extend every possible help to the mandir’s managing committee.He was honoured on the occasion by the mandir’s managing committee.The SGM NIshkam Sewa Society general secretary Pardeep Dhall spoke in detail about various religious, social and welfare activities of the society.
Among others, Sunil Sehgal, Pawan Kant Vohra, Pawan Aggarwal, Deepak Gupta, Sanjay Kohli, Sanjay Sehgal, Sunil Sehgal, Vinay Kohli, Deepak Garg and Sandeep Gupta were present on the occasion.
