SAS Nagar: Anmol Gagn Mann starts installation of tubewell in Ward No 27 Badali
Seven more tube wells coming up soon

SAS Nagar, October 11, 2024: Continuing the spree of development projects in Kharar, the MLA Anmol Gagan Mann kicked off the commissioning of a new tubewell project at Ward No 27, Badali on Friday.
She said that to overcome the shortage of drinking water supply, 12 tube wells for various localities were proposed by the MC to the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board at the cost of Rs 4.28 Crore.
Out of these four new tube wells at a cost of Rs 147.22, lakh have already been commissioned (pump chamber under construction) at wards number 13, 6, 8 and 3.
The rest of the tubewells having an estimated cost Rs 281.28 Lakh are coming up at ward number 14, 26, 12/15, 25, 12, 27, 9 and 6 one by one, as one drilling part takes 25 days before the starting of the chamber construction.
Anmol Gagnan Mann said that the commissioning of these new tub wells is in addition to the Kajauli Water Supply Project of Rs 117 Crore which is being commenced soon.
She said that she had a promise with the Kharar residents to provide relief for drinking water supply, sewerage problems, street lights issues and road connectivity that are being fulfilled one by one.
Assuring the Kharar residents of all the civic amentias, they need, Anmol Gagan Mann said that the duty handed over by the Kharar residents to serve them, would be delivered by her diligently and honestly as the Bhagwant Mann Government is committed to the overall development of this historic city.
