Chandigarh, February 6, 2025 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij is known for his simplicity and straightforwardness across the country and state. He generally stays away from VIP culture. In this context, officers from his departments can meet him without appointments daily from 1 PM to 5 PM, and in Ambala from 10 AM to 12 PM, as he stated that he is always available.
He shared this information while interacting with media persons today.
Speaking to the media persons, Vij said, "Some officers used to ask for appointments every day, but I am always available. Whenever you come, you can meet me. So, I’ve issued an office order that I will be available from 1 PM to 5 PM in the office, and during that time, officers can meet me."
He also mentioned, "In Ambala, I have told the officers that I don’t give appointments to anyone, and I am at home from 10 AM to 12 PM, and officers can meet me then. Actually, I have never given anyone an appointment till now, neither in Ambala nor in the office. I am always available," he said.
It is noteworthy that letters were sent to the Additional Chief Secretaries of the Transport and Energy Departments, Principal Secretary of the Labour Department, Managing Directors of HVPNL, DHBVN, UHBVN and HPGCL, Transport Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Director of State Transport and Director of ESI.

When asked about the municipal elections, he said that "The announcement for the municipal elections in Ambala Cantt has been made. These elections will be fought on the face of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The elections in Delhi were fought on his face, Maharashtra elections were fought on his face, and now these elections will also be fought on his face."

When media persons asked about Sanjay Raut’s statement that the BJP used money in the Delhi elections, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij replied, "The ones who cry will keep crying, and the ones who win have already won." Regarding the exit polls for Delhi, Anil Vij stated, "I have been saying from the beginning that BJP will win. I had also said that BJP would win in Haryana, and the same will happen in Delhi. BJP is going to form the government in Delhi."

In response to Punjab's NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal’s appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak with Trump regarding youths deported from America, Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij said, "If people go to any country illegally, the country has every right to expel them. I say that India should take a lesson from America’s actions. There are millions of people illegally roaming in India, and they too should be shown the way out of their countries. They are born somewhere else but eat food here," he added.
