In a proactive move to support students preparing for the upcoming CBSE, PSEB, and ICSE board exams, the district administration has launched a pioneering 24-hour mental health helpline called 'ASMAAH' (9646470777).
Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal emphasized that this collaborative initiative between the District Red Cross Society and the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises aims to equip students with effective stress management techniques and personalized study plans.
By calling the helpline at 9646470777, students can access confidential counselling and expert guidance on overcoming exam-related anxiety.
Jorwal underscored the importance of fostering a supportive environment, encouraging parents, teachers, and the community to reassure students that exams are not the sole defining factor in their lives.
The 'ASMAAH' helpline seeks to empower students to approach exams with confidence and poise, providing them with trained listeners and valuable resources to navigate stress and anxiety.
Prominent officials present at the launch included CM Field Officer Kritika Goyal, Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training Officer Jeevandeep Singh, DDF Ambar Bandopadhyay, and others.
