Anurag Rastogi Appointed Chief Secretary of Haryana; Assigned Additional Charge of Finance and Planning Department

Chandigarh, 20 February 2025: The Haryana government has appointed Anurag Rastogi (IAS, 1990 batch) as the Chief Secretary of Haryana, while also entrusting him with the additional charge of the Finance and Planning Department. According to an official order issued by the Governor of Haryana, Rastogi will simultaneously hold the post of Additional Chief Secretary of Finance and Planning Department alongside his existing responsibilities.
Expanded Portfolio of Anurag Rastogi
Currently, Anurag Rastogi is overseeing several crucial departments, including General Administration, Human Resources, Personnel and Training, Parliamentary Affairs, Vigilance, and Planning Coordination. With this latest appointment, the Finance and Planning Department has now been added to his portfolio, further consolidating his role in the administration.
Official Government Notification Issued
The order, issued by C.G. Rajnikantan, Secretary, Personnel Department, Haryana Government, states that these new responsibilities will take effect immediately.
