"Youth for My Bharat and Digital Literacy" theme marks NSS Camp at DSCW
Ferozepur, March 5, 2025: A week-long NSS camp was organised at Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur, under the theme "Youth for My Bharat and Youth for Digital Literacy." The camp was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Sangeeta, along with Coordinator Dr. Kulbir Singh, Dean of Social Outreach, Nodal Officer Madam Rupinderjit Kaur, and Madam Rabia.
On the first day, NSS volunteers planted saplings, showcasing the institution's commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. The day's proceedings began with the morning assembly, college prayer, and an oath-taking ceremony to promote digital literacy and environmental conservation.
Principal Dr. Sangeeta motivated students to actively participate in the tree plantation drive as a step towards environmental awareness. Traditional games were organised to encourage a screen-free lifestyle, promoting a balanced and healthy way of living.
The inaugural day set the foundation for various activities aimed at fostering awareness of digital literacy and environmental responsibility among students. The program inspired a sense of responsibility and active participation, making it a meaningful initiative.
