:Breaking : Wanted in RSS Leader’s son murder case, Jattan Kalli Injured and arrested in Ferozepur Encounter
Ferozepur, November 20, 2025: In an early morning encounter near Arifke Road close to Sodhiwala area, the Ferozepur Police arrested Jattan Kalli, who sustained serious injuries during the exchange of fire. Kalli was wanted in the murder case of Naveen Arora, son of senior RSS leader Baldev Raj Arora.
Police had received a specific intelligence input that Kalli was moving in the area. Acting swiftly, teams led by DSP City, DSP DCA Unit, and the SHO City set up checkpoints to intercept him.
According to the police, Jattan Kalli approached one of the checkpoints on a motorcycle at high speed and attempted to flee when signalled to stop. He opened fire on the police party, with one bullet hitting the windshield of the police vehicle, narrowly missing the driver.
The police retaliated, injuring Kalli, who was subsequently overpowered and taken into custody. He was immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital for treatment.
A 32-bore pistol used by him to fire at the police was recovered from the spot. Further investigation is underway to determine whether the same weapon was used in the murder of Naveen Arora.
The police have already arrested two accused—Kanav and Harsh—in this case earlier. Jattan Kalli is the third arrest in the high-profile murder investigation.
Kalli originally hails from Village Wadhani Jaimal Singh, but had been residing in Bhattian Wali Basti, Ferozepur, for quite some time.
Senior officers, including the SSP Ferozepur and SP(D), reached the spot and inspected the encounter site, reviewing the operational details and directing a thorough forensic examination.
