As elections approach, the District Magistrate of Sri Muktsar Sahib has sealed the village borders, no outsiders permitted, no exceptions granted.
As per the legal provisions outlined in the Model Code of Conduct Manual by District Magistrate Sri Muktsar Sahib Abhijit Kaplish, and under the authority granted to him through Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Act 2023, specific directives have been issued for maintaining law and order during the re-polling scheduled for December 16, 2025.
In Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad Election Zone No. 07, Gurusar village Madhir (Polling Booth No. 21 and 22), and Zila Parishad Zone No. 08, Kotbhai village Bubania (Polling Booth No. 63 and 64), only voters registered at these respective polling booths will be permitted to enter the villages until the conclusion of voting.
Entry of outside individuals will be strictly prohibited during this period to ensure smooth electoral proceedings.
Orders have been implemented to enforce a complete entry ban, ensuring that the voting process proceeds smoothly and in accordance with the law.
Strict action will be taken against those violating the orders.
