In addition to KYC awareness, information was shared on basic banking services, digital banking, cybersecurity, grievance redressal mechanisms, and government-sponsored financial inclusion schemes. Special emphasis was laid on educating farmers, senior citizens, women, students and first-time banking customers.
A quiz competition was also organised during the camp, which saw enthusiastic participation from the public. To promote awareness on KYC, Re-KYC and CKYC, the Reserve Bank of India distributed gifts and refreshments to the participants.
