Mohali (Punjab), February 20, 2026: In a significant action under the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act, 2012, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Ms. Geetika Singh has cancelled the licence of Marg Group firm with immediate effect.
Exercising powers under Section 6(1)(e) of the Act, the ADM revoked the consultancy licence (No. 349/IC dated October 4, 2019) issued to the firm, which was operating from SCF No. 65, Top Floor, Phase-5, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The licence had expired on October 3, 2024, and had not been renewed.
According to official information, the firm is owned by Manjinder Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh, originally a resident of village Sheron, Tehsil/District Tarn Taran, and currently residing at Flat No. C-8/1203, 11th Floor, Prabh Premium Apartments, Sector-88, Mohali.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner stated that the action was taken due to multiple violations of the Act and its rules.
The firm allegedly failed to submit mandatory monthly reports and advertisement details within the stipulated time, did not renew its licence after expiry, failed to comply with licence conditions, and did not respond to official notices or provide clarification. Complaints had also been received against the firm.
