In a major boost to the election campaign of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Ward No. 21, an impressive corner meeting was organized today at Central Park, Model Town Phase-1, Bathinda, under the leadership of Sarabjit Kaur, AAP candidate from Ward No. 21 and wife of Advocate Gurpreet Singh.
The meeting witnessed overwhelming participation from local residents, members of the business fraternity, senior citizens, advocates, youth representatives, and social activists, reflecting growing public support for the party in the ward.
The gathering turned into an enthusiastic interaction between the party leadership and the residents, where issues concerning civic amenities, infrastructure development, sanitation, road repairs, street lighting, public parks, water supply, and welfare measures for local residents were discussed in detail. Residents expressed hope that the Aam Aadmi Party would bring transparent and people-oriented governance at the municipal level.
Former Mayor of Municipal Corporation Bathinda, Padamjit Singh Mehta, while specially addressing the gathering, said that the Aam Aadmi Party has consistently worked for honest politics, transparent administration, and public welfare.
He emphasized that the party remains committed to strengthening civic infrastructure and ensuring that every section of society receives the benefits of development equally. He appealed to the residents of Ward No. 21 to support Sarabjit Kaur and strengthen the hands of the party in the upcoming municipal elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarabjit Kaur thanked the residents for their enthusiastic participation and support. She assured the public that if elected, she would work tirelessly for the comprehensive development of the ward and would remain accessible to the people at all times.
She further stated that the aim of the Aam Aadmi Party is to establish clean, accountable, and responsive governance that directly addresses the everyday concerns of citizens.
