How one call to 112 brought swift help to injured Mansa man after road accident

Mansa (Punjab), August 1, 2026: A call to the Punjab Police emergency helpline 112 brought timely assistance to a man who was injured after his tractor was hit by a car in Mansa district.
The injured man contacted the emergency helpline and informed the police that he had been hurt in the accident and required immediate help.
An ambulance was promptly arranged, while a police team was dispatched to the spot. The team reached the accident site and helped shift the injured man to a hospital for treatment. His family was also informed about the incident.
The man’s family expressed gratitude to the police for the prompt response and timely assistance.
