Licences of nine Immigration, IELTS and Travel Firms cancelled in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, August 4, 2026: Additional District Magistrate Ferozepur Dr. Amandeep Kaur (PCS) has cancelled the licences of nine firms engaged in consultancy, IELTS coaching, travel agency and ticketing services for alleged violations of the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Rules.
The action has been taken under the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act, 2012, on the basis of a report received from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur.
The firms whose licences have been cancelled include Abroad Masters, Care of E-School, Gradicoz Consultants, Better World Immigration and Visa Consultant, Arjun Immigration and Education Services Pvt. Ltd., APT IELTS Institute, Echo Global Immigration Consultant, RB IELTS & Immigration Consultant, Power Learn Global Immigration and Kannan Tour & Travels.
According to the ADM, the licences of these firms had earlier been suspended after the licence holders failed to renew them within the prescribed period. Subsequently, the licence holders were asked to submit their replies/explanations, but they failed to do so.
The authorities found that the licence holders had violated Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Rules, 2013, framed under the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act, 2012, also known as the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act.
Accordingly, the licences of the concerned firms have been cancelled with immediate effect under Section 6(1)(e) of the Act.
